Some weddings are beautiful. Others are unforgettable. Katerina and Daniel’s was both. They traveled from Florida with their closest family and friends, and they wanted more than a wedding day. They dreamed of an authentic Italian experience that would hold everyone together for a full weekend, and that is exactly what they built at Villa Boscarello, a villa in Trequanda surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and the iconic cypress lined avenue of the Val d’Orcia. Their beloved dog Winston came too, and quietly became one of the most cherished guests of the weekend.

Day one: a taste of Tuscany

The weekend opened with a relaxed welcome aperitivo at the villa, then a traditional Tuscan dinner in the town of Sinalunga. Long tables, local cooking, generous wine, and the kind of laughter that makes strangers into family by dessert. It was exactly the introduction to Italy the couple wanted: easy, joyful, and full of real connection.

Day two: the most chic pizza party

Instead of a formal rehearsal dinner, Katerina and Daniel asked for something fun, interactive, and unmistakably Italian. Silvia’s team answered with an editorial pizza party: red and white checked tablecloths elevated by centerpieces of fresh tomatoes, peppers, basil, and vintage sauce bottles, while pizzaioli fired fresh pizzas in front of the guests. Playful and refined at the same time, which is harder to pull off than it looks.

Day three: a ceremony full of emotion

The ceremony faced the cypress avenue stretching into the horizon, with an intentionally understated aisle that let the landscape do the talking. White and ivory blooms carried bold pops of bright pink, a palette as vibrant as the couple themselves. The ceremony wove in Jewish traditions that honored their heritage, and there were tears, heartfelt smiles, and, naturally, a special role for Winston.

An Italian summer evening

Cocktails by the pool as the sun dropped behind the hills, then dinner in the villa’s candlelit courtyard. The tables carried one of the weekend’s most distinctive details: the pink Oriente Italiano charger plates by Ginori 1735, a sophisticated Italian touch that matched the florals perfectly. Speeches, toasts, and dancing carried the night long past the candles.
