The Sea Ranch was designed in the 1960s around one idea, living lightly on the land, and its Lodge still holds the line. Set on 53 acres of Sonoma County bluff, 100 miles north of San Francisco, the 1968 building was fully reimagined between 2021 and 2023 and now pairs 17 quiet guest rooms with a dining room, solarium, bar and lounge, cafe, and general store.

Weddings happen where the property is at its best: on the bluffs above the Pacific, in courtyards and patios, or inside by the oversized fireplaces when the fog rolls in. Between events, guests can walk the trails to Black Point Beach or visit the Sea Ranch Chapel.

Nothing here competes with the coastline. That restraint is the point.
