When Nowshin and Sachin first met in July 2023, it was as if fate had set the stage for their love story. Introduced through mutual friends, they instantly connected, falling head over heels for each other. As Nowshin’s friends joked, Sachin had the “Nowshin Cheat Code,” effortlessly knowing exactly how to make her feel loved and seen. From the very beginning, their relationship was filled with thoughtful gestures, shared passions, and a sense of peace that made them inseparable.

One of the things that brought them together was their shared love of the water. In New York City, they often visited the piers or small beaches, sitting together to listen to the gentle waves, talk, or simply enjoy the serene silence. For Nowshin, the water represented peace, and she felt the same sense of calm and completeness when she was with him. Early in their relationship, these quiet moments by the water became their ritual—a way to connect, reflect, and build their bond.

Fast forward to a trip that would forever change their lives. In December 2024, Nowshin was surprised with a trip to Hawaii to celebrate her birthday. She was already thrilled by the getaway, but her Sachin had something even more extraordinary planned. As part of her birthday gift, he booked a professional photographer, under the guise of a fun photoshoot at sunrise on Sandy Beach. Nowshin, thinking it was just a thoughtful birthday gesture, happily went along with the plan, excited to capture beautiful memories in one of the most stunning places on earth.

The sun began to rise, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange, the photographer began taking solo shots of Nowshin. At one point, she asked her to turn around, and when Nowshin did, there was Sachin, down on one knee with a ring box in hand. In that moment, time seemed to stand still.

“I froze in shock,” Nowshin shared. “I was feeling so giddy, and I couldn’t believe this was actually happening. I always knew I would be with him, but the fact that we’re actually going to be married now—oh my god, my heart was bursting.”

The moment was straight out of a dream. With the ocean waves as their backdrop and the love of her life before her, Nowshin felt overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. It was everything she had ever imagined and more. After saying yes and slipping on her ring, she couldn’t stop smiling, repeatedly exclaiming, “Oh my god, I’m your fiancée!”

The proposal was more than just a romantic gesture; it was a full-circle moment. The ocean, which had always symbolized peace and love for Nowshin, was the perfect place for them to take the next step in their journey together. From their walks by the water in NYC to this life-changing moment in Hawaii, it was as if the universe had aligned to celebrate their love.

Looking ahead, Nowshin and Sachin are excited about their future together, planning their May 2025 wedding and dreaming of all the adventures that lie ahead. Their story is a testament to the power of connection, shared passions, and thoughtful love—a true example of how small, meaningful moments can lead to something extraordinary.
