Love has a way of bringing people together from opposite ends of the country, and for Dana and Jared, it all started in a college classroom in Illinois in 2018. She grew up in New Jersey, he in Arizona—two different worlds that collided in the best way possible. Their journey has taken them across state lines, through milestone moments, and now, right to the aisle.

A Proposal Full of Meaning

Jared knew that when the time came to propose, it had to be sentimental. He waited until Christmas Eve—one of the most magical nights of the year—when Dana’s entire family was gathered in New Jersey. He took her to a beloved botanical garden, a place woven into her childhood memories, and in that special place, surrounded by the people who have loved her the longest, he asked her to be his forever.

Capturing Their Love in Phoenix

Engagement photos are a time capsule of this beautiful in-between moment—right before saying “I do.” Dana and Jared chose downtown Phoenix as the backdrop for their engagement session, making it not just a photo shoot, but a walk down memory lane. They visited their favorite restaurant, their go-to spots around the city, and of course, included their dog (because what’s an engagement session without your furry best friend?). The result? A collection of photos that tells the story of their everyday love—the kind built on shared meals, weekend strolls, and the life they’re building together in Arizona.

Counting Down to Forever

Now, the countdown is on. On June 7th, 2025, Dana and Jared will officially become husband and wife! Their love story is proof that sometimes, love finds you in the most unexpected places, and when it does, it becomes your greatest adventure.
